sean lien (連勝文) is a taiwanese politician who has generated some news about ic! berlin. he is always seen wearing his ic! frames, and in january 2009 he was attacked in the parliament. he was hit in the face, and his ic! frame fell to the ground, broken. not to worry, sean lien picked up the frame and nimbly re-assembled it in few seconds, while the cameras zoomed in and the crowd watched in amazement. more recently, sean lien was attacked by a gunman and shot in the face. seemingly as indestructible as the glasses he wears, he is bravely seen in public making a recovery just 15 days later. here at ic! we warmly wish sean lien the very best for his health, and a speedy recovery. those who understand chinese can watch a news segment on the affair below:
