as more and more imitations of our unique hinge design appear, we sometimes allow an ‘open source’ approach to our technology. we find designers with something unique, and invite them to build something new with the ic! berlin toolbox.
KIX are a french-german design collective working in berlin. this collaboration with the talented young designers was based on lifestyle. each piece takes a person and their environment as the starting point of a design. the project has produced 6 models that are intelligent and unusual, like their designers. each one is a challenge to the conventions of eyewear, and a complimentary addition to the ic! berlin family.
this special edition is limited to 70 pieces of each model.
