What happens when you get hit by a golf ball smack between the eyes? Well not much thankfully, if the balls hits you flush in the nose bridge of a pair of model nikolai m. glasses. The pictures attached so result of being struck by a wayward golf ball on Sunday September 12th, 2010 while standing on the 4th Tee of a golf club in Sydney. You can see from the bruising that the hit was taken flush by the bridge of the glasses and so dissipated the impact across my head. When I got hit it sounded like a cannonball - but I felt nothing. Just some mild vibration. The glasses flicked off my head and one of the arms broke from the frame.
 
There is not a scratch on the plastic frame.
 
That was it. I have had a Head Cat Scan taken to check for skull fractures but nothing! - all clear. No headaches - I have not even taken a panadol. In the last photo I glued the arm back to the frame - and am wearing the same glasses following the impact. If the ball did not hit my glasses where it did, i would not be able to write this email today.
